acer cases not meant to be modded???

ive bought some new parts from oc for the missis, in the hope of putting them in her old acer case. however, the hd in nigh on impossible to get out as the screws are unreachable, and none of switches / hd led / hd light leads have any sort of labelling on them. are thse cases desinged not to be upgraded?

Bad business model. If you could easily upgrade, they would make less money.

there's also a card reader thats completely unremovable. looks like i might have to try and track down a pink case from somewhere.
