My daughter's D260 laptop won't boot into Windows 7 Starter. She's able to run a recovery program using ALT + F10, but it's now asking for a boot disk (the netbook has no optical drive and she has no access to a Windows 7 disk anyway). The netbook is about 3 weeks old and I would normally just send it back under warranty BUT she is studying abroad (France) and has deadlines to meet for essays etc (hence the slight vagueness in my description). Can anybody point me in the right direction for steps to address this? I'll have to talk her through it on the phone. Cheers
