Right,
I have just embarked on fixing the brothers, mothers and father laptop by getting a new keyboard, a new power supply, battery and in the future some RAM. I have just took the keyboard out with a bit of push and shove as it was rigid as hell and put the new keyboard in, however the keys surrounding the enter key are a bit messed up.
The new keyboard isn't the problem, I just inserted the old keyboard and that has the same issue. The ribbon cable has been inserted fine all times however the problem still remains, the rest of the keys work perfectly without an issue. It's just the enter key, backspace, semi-colon, the arrow keys & =.
Any idea, could I have damaged something taking the keyboard out the first time which has screwed something up?
