Ok, so my old dual 19" LCD rig began to bug me a while ago and decided to sell. I had a Belinea 101920 (P-MVA) and a Samsung 910T (PVA) both 25ms.

I am looking for a decent 20" widescreen LCD. I've stumbled upon Belinea 102035W which is a very nice piece of hardware but unfortunatelly there's nowhere i can buy this here in Bucharest. Bummer, i know.

I'm stuck with buying this Acer thing, F20, which from the reviews does not look too great (although it's the same AUO P-MVA panel as the Belinea).

What do you think about the Acer? Is it worth the money? It's about $981 here.
I really am very picky when it comes to LCDs. Never owned an Acer so i have no idea how they perform. I don't care about the design that much, i just need a wonderful screen.

Thanks for any info on this.

Hi, I had the F-20 for one day, looked a nice monitor and what have you but it had 2 dead pixels and the backlight bleeding was on par with the 4 belineas I had before the F-20. I send the F-20 under the DSA and got a full refund.

The F-20 is a nice looking monitor with a built in TV Tuner but other than looks it's not worth the extra premium.

Cheers

Did you get any other monitor to replace it? There really seems to be a shortage of good 20" WS monitors.. too bad because the AUO panel in particular is really good.
