Acer GD245HQ buzzing sound problem ?

WTF!? Mine is doing this straight out the box, 60Hz, 100Hz, 120Hz as the frequency goes up it gets worse.

At 60Hz even slight scrolling on this forum page results in annoying pitch changes to the buzz.

At 100Hz it get worst and 120Hz it bad.

in 3D mode it ridiculous.

If this is a fault or by design I don't know but I will be returning it either way.

This is not acceptable.

You wont get rid of that buzzing im afraid its seems to be a design fault with this monitor that why i got rid of mine i could no longer put up with it:mad:

I would return it if i was you and maybe look into the Benq monitors if your after another 120hz monitor :)
 
At the end of the day 90% on what I do my photography in Lightroom and really need to stick to my initial budget.

I only went for this as it fell in my bubget. the 120 Hz and 3D was a nice to have rather than a necessity.

Can't afford the 144Hz Benq, it's another £65 extra.

got this reply so far...

all the warranties are on site with acer so if you contact them on 0871 760 1000 they will bring a new screen and take the faulty screen away for you.

Not going to happen... insisting on RMA and an alternative.
