Acer GD245HQ

Well it looks as if the only real competition for the Acer at the moment is the Alienware OPTX 2310. Check out a comparison between them here:

Both get good reviews but the Alienware costs £450 and has slightly better connectivity but is it worth the extra £150 over the Acer?
I'm seriously tempted by the Acer. I'm not particularly bothered about 3D at the moment, I'm more interested in the responsiveness which is something they both excel at (obviously).
