Acer Laptop Broken Screen

Hello,

So the screen is broken, bleeding and just cant do anything on it, that a side. It has no OS on it.

Therfore i cannot figure out a way on how to get the display to show on a HDTV via VGA or HDMI

Could anyone tell me if it is possible and if not what is the best solution. I need to get an OS on it, it came with Vista and i beleive it has a restore partition on it.

Theres usually a FN key that swaps between internal and external displays.

As above - pretty simple really.

Screens arent that expensive - I'd replace it personally
