Acer laptop problem.

Hi.

My flatmate has this Acer laptop, and when on charge, or not, all that is happening is a flashing yellow LED, I've took the battery out, put it back in, I've tried pressing the power buttong for 20 seconds, but nothing, without the battery in, but power in, it won't light up at all.

I'm unsure what else it could be? But I'd thought I'd post on here incase someone else knows anything better as she really needs her laptop.

sounds like the mainboard has died if your getting power to the unit, but its not switching on.
