Acer XB27HU 1440p 144HZ IPS why signal delay up to a minute, when just clicking power off the monitor for the night, morning I click button to turn on monitor but why do I get blank screen? I prefer not to power down the entire computer. All cords are firmly plugged in even though display cord is short, waiting for arrival of a longer cord. I have Nivida 680 GPU and I7, do I need better GPU? Does this happen to anyone else who owns this Monitor?

The standby light doesn't come on, does this monitor need the standby when power button is clicked off and computer not shut down? I have always been able with my previous monitor to just power off the monitor not the entire computer. My previous Monitor did not have a standby button either.

This is my only problem, I have no back light bleed, No dead pixels, No IPS Glow. G-sync really works! IPS colors are beautiful. 1440p resolution looks fantastic especially in movies. I now understand when People say once you go to 1440p and 144Hz with G-sync we will not want to return to 1080p or anything less than 144Hz. Thanks in advance for advice to solve problem.

Thanks for response I checked out the link. I hope this isn't the same issue, because like I said I have no other issue than when I click power button off, without shutting down computer, when I click power button again, it takes up to a minute for the desktop screen to appear. I see others have issues of screen flickering on and off, but this is not the problem I have.

Since my GPU is only a GTX 680 could this be the problem? I am going to upgrade card but can my I7 ,32 Gig with Nvidia GTX 680 be upgraded to a Titan X or Black Titan without changing anything inside the computer? I am a gamer only and admit I am not a computer tech. Thanks for advice in advance.

I fixed the problem all I need to do is shut down computer completely.
I don't know if it is because of standby which may be needed for instant access to desktop or need more powerful video card. When I turn off computer and power on again I have instant access to desktop.

This monitor is all I had hoped for, and more.
