Acer One not booting

Not used the netbook for a few days, tried to turn it on last night and it wouldn't boot up, it just stops at the blue screen with aspire one in the bottom right corner.

Anyone come across this before? It's the linux system with HDD if that make any difference.

This can happen when the Acer hasn't been turned off correctly (i.e. it crashed and you removed the power). I found that it can take 5 mins+ for the system to re-boot; but it does eventually sort itself out.

ok cool, although i'm pretty sure the system was turned off normally the last time it was used.

A couple of days a go my Acer One wouldn't do anything just the power light lit and that was it. The Bios in the Acer One is renown for becoming corrupted. Luckly I was able to fix it when I found this webpage.

If nothing else works and all else fails try this.
