Acer or Benq

i have narrowed my choice of monitor down to these two:

Benq V2410Eco
Acer EcoDisplay V243HLbmd

i can get the acer for 20 quid less then the benq...obviously the acer has no hdmi but im not bothered with that.

is the benq worth the extra 20?
 
The BenQ G2420HDBL is probably priced more in-line with the Acer V243xx. It is essentially the same screen as the V2410 Eco less the HDMI port. The Acer LED backlit screen suffers greatly from very poor colours. The V2410 Eco on the other hand has superior colour reproduction and seems to be generally a better quality screen than the Acer.

I'd go for the BenQ.
 
thanks. i actually pushed the boat out a little and ended up ordering a Acer H243HX based on a few reviews which pretty much said it was the bees knees for gaming.
 
Good choice there! Much more pleasing colours than the other Acer from what I hear. :) Please let me know how you find it when you receive it.
 
Yep I'd be interested to hear too, it looks a good monitor for the price. I seem to be getting more choices rather than less the more I read around!!
 
should be with me tomo, so il let people know what i find....but from what iv read its supposed to be very nice.

@Grantelicious i presume your talking about the Acer EcoDisplay V243HLbmd and missed the part where i said i wasnt getting that one??
 
Let me know how you find it when it arrives. I think he was talking about the original Acer, not the one you ordered.
 
Which one are you getting now!!! show which one on the site or somewhere else
keen on getting 24 " but need hdmi.... how has it been for you
