Acer or Benq

Can't comment on this particular choice however I have two Acer monitors and they're ok...but my general rule of thumb is to avoid Acer. Poor build quality and expensive aftersales service in my experience.

The Benq is the better of the two. It's more solidly built and includes an option to set the overdrive mode. The Acer doesn't, it locks overdrive at maximum which causes noticeable trails and fringes during motion.

Because it only does 30Hz at 4K resolution.

Acer has always been hit and miss from my experience, BenQ have good build quality but I've never really liked the colours on them much - used to have a display wall at work with various Samsung, Dell, BenQ, etc. displays and the difference in out the box quality was marked and my personal experience has been that BenQ don't calibrate overly well always having to make a not insignificant compromise somewhere - if you just like bright and vivid colours without being too bothered by subtleties though you'd be happy enough with one.

EDIT: Though that might not be the story with all their panels.
