I recently bought a X27 about 2 weeks ago and tonight I happened to notice something while on a white background on the desktop.

After looking at it in more detail I'm beginning to think that this is dirt behind the screen rather than dead pixels?

What's your thoughts? Thanks!

After nearly an hour of arguing, the monitor is getting collected by courier on Friday (note this wasn't bought from OCUK).
Had to pull out the Consumer Rights Act nonsense to get anywhere.

So the old original monitor got picked up Friday and I had a new one with me the day before on the Thursday.

I've only just had a chance to set up as I've been away.
So far so good with the new monitor.

Note that the company didn't send the replacement, I had to pay for the new monitor and they'll credit me the old once received etc.

First monitor back with supplier and credited.
2nd getting collected by courier tomorrow.

I'm now undecided if I'm getting a 3rd or now.

When are you getting yours fantastic?

Mine arrived today, from another retailer, I noticed that they have 1 on overclockers today!

I can’t set it up until Sunday due to work commitments! :( I’m a little bit annoyed they shipped as is, for such an expensive monitor I though it would have been in another box!

YEah - my box was also battered.

Let me know how you get on as I'm still undecided what I'm going to do with the whole monitor side of things!!

I’ve got it on!!!

Played BFV and Pubg so far need to spend more time in the settings but it’s incredible so far.

No dead pixels nothing wrong with it,very impressed with the build quality the screen is Superb.

Initial thoughts are wow, need to spend more time with it and will report back!

I'm tempted to try a 3rd!! Can you send me a message in trust as to where you purchased?

Came across this thread, how did it turn out for you Monkeyspaz5000?

I had one monitor with dirt/dust behind the screen.
The second monitor developed a faulty pixel and a black vertical line.

Sent both back and bought the AW Ultrawide.
I am however thinking of buying again as I'm looking into streaming and the UW format doesn't work too well for that.
