Acer Predator XB 271HK - Need some Help PLS?

I have recently acquired the above monitor and for some reason cannot get it to to go 4k 60Hz, it will handle 4k at 30 Hz, but keeps telling me "no signal", if i try to set it at 60 Hz. I thought originally it would be able to achieve this with a HDMi cable but found that i needed a DP cable to get 4k @ 60Hz, so i got one and still nothing. I am using an Asus GeForce GTX 1070 ROG Strix 8Gb card,if that helps. Any help will be greatly appreciated,

Problem is that cheapo cables tend not to work for 4K at 60Hz. You really need to get a high quality cable. Buy a branded cable.

I'm getting the same issue! It's not constant though, it just happens at random. I'm using the cable supplied with the monitor.

Did the monitor not come with a DP cable?

Yes it did, however i never trust the cables which come with products as they tend to be of lesser quality, than others out there, i have tried the cable which came with the monitor and a higher quality cable i purchased and still the same problem.
