Guys

About to pull the trigger on this, considered an ultra wide monitor like one of the cheapies that came up recently but keep going back to this.

Can anyone offer any alternatives etc? This looks pretty good for the cash especially with gsync on my new 1080ti + 4k

Thanks

I must say there's seem to be some really nice ultra wide monitors that are bigger but lower resolution.

However this monitor is replacing another 4k screen I had which has just broke so I worry I may miss 4k

Can't deny some of these ultra wides really look the part though so I'm torn...

Seems to get good reviews etc, still torn though whether to just get an ultra wide with a slightly lower resolution but bigger panel

Just had it delivered yesterday! It's on sale at £399 so I think it's more than a £200 pound screen, it was a fair bit pricier when It came out originally.

So far so good, Games are great with Gsync, Colours in game great, in Windows and web pages colours are a bit less "wow" but fine and it's so well made, super stand.

''Tis up to you but for the money, brilliant.

Interesting such a hard decision I actually really love the look of the ultra wide

Benq have one at 399 35 inch jobby and Linus tech tips gave it a rave review

Resolution however is only 2560x1080 I believe

Benq XR501 35 inch and its 144hz!!

If you trust me your WhatsApp number I'd love to see it in operation on games etc if you're at home?

With the BenQ you have to limit it to 120Hz or you get bad ghosting and smearing I gather. Def do some research before considering.

The Ti will def do a good job at 4k w/Gsync :)

Higher refresh offers a better upgrade, and that was coming from a 1440p monitor. I didn’t find the GSync 4K to be worth it, so now I’m saving for a high refresh 1440p monitor.

Predator 4k ordered. Gsync will keep me trucking for a while and if I went an ultrawide I may miss the real estate of 4k as what I'm used to.

My broken 4k screen should be back from repair soon so when that comes back I will be listing in MM

Had a quick play on this last night and I'm impressed. Colours aren't as vivid as my older IPS monitor but they are more than fine once fettled a little. What I'm more impressed by is the 1080ti, everything on max apart from super sampling which was set to 100 on BF1 last night and it was holding a steady 60FPS! Had the odd dip to 50-55 but they were few and far between, amazing power.
Josh.
