Acer Revo and Memory

has anyone else with a revo M3610 found it to be very picky with memory?

basically mine shipped with 2gb and i was trying to upgrade it to 4gb to handle HD media with a little more ease.. 2 lots of new upgrades (2x 2gb sticks) have caused no end of BSODs..

and recommendations on a brand of memory to use?

had 2 lots of the same memory (RMA'd the first lot) in it and it blue screened and/or refused to boot.

the OEM stick seems fine.

Is it not setup for low voltage ram?

did you get anywhere with getting 4gb working in the Revo? I'm looking to upgrade but a little worried about your experience - do you know what it was you were using?

no left it with the standard 2Gb stick in the end, seems enough to handle W7 etc.

it was Corsair 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 kit
