Anyone else made the transition from a Revo to a Pi3?

I'd be losing a little performance and HD audio passthrough, but likewise I'd be gaining a much smaller footprint, absent hard drive noise and a coolness factor.

Any opinions on the Pi3 as a Kodi box? My fave skin is Arctic Zephyr, would this perform smoothly?

I believe I would also need to pick up a FLIRC to use with my Harmony Smart control. Currently I use a HP MCE USB receiver with my Revo.

when Roku 4 (4k version) gets released in the UK what will be the difference between this and the Amazon 4k fire ? should be before xmas no ? and seems there will be a chromecast 4k press release this week
maybe amazon are more likely to do a fire tv deal on next black friday, than a roku deal.

The pi3 does not have the hevc/h265 hardware codec support afaik, so that seems limiting if you want to connect it directly to a tv ie. as a kodi client as opposed to server. as a server I guess it could stream h265 to a tv that support h265 though.
(So, also wanting Netflix +kodi, I am considering 4K amazon or roku boxes - but apparently they do not support 2160p60/50 which is utube capability)
