does anyone have this monitor?

its vga but my gpu is dvi. so all I would need is a converter then?

Yes, as long as the DVI carries an analogue signal.

If we're talking about a Gigabyte HD 7950 then the DVI does carry an analogue signal.

These used to be commonly packaged with new graphics cards but I'm not sure if thats still the case.
