Acer XB240HA - Screen buttons not working and FPS counter stuck on

Hi all,

Just picked up an Acer XB240HA for the wife from OcUK B Grade (this may be the problem already!)

When turning it on everything looks good and it works well apart from two things.

1. The buttons on the screen bring up a menu, but when pressing the buttons again to scroll, select etc, nothing happens apart from one which closes the menu again.

2. The FPS counter is on all the time. I assume I would have the option to turn this off somewhere in the menus however, see point 1!

Have you tried pressing 'exit' twice in a row? Very odd.

Yep just tried it now, along with a number of different combinations! All that I can make it do is appear and disappear.
