Acer XB271HU or XF270HU?

Hi guys,

I'm considering getting either one of these monitors:

• Acer XB271HU
• Acer XF270HU

Both monitors are being discounted right now here in Norway and the XF270HU is roughly about £100 cheaper than the XB271HU. I currently have an ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Dual OC graphics card which I realise is underpowered for 1440p, but I'll be looking to upgrade this at some point. My thinking is that although the XB271UH is £100 more expensive it offers native G-Sync which will be more solid than the alternative, but it does mean being tied to Nvidia GPUs in future. On the other hand, the XF270HU offers Freesync but it's not listed as officially G-Sync compatible on Nvidia's list of certified monitors and I assume it's G-Sync implementation will be inferior to the native G-Sync support of the XB271UH.

Does anybody have any thoughts about which of these to go for?
