Different markets imho, if you're thinking about a £3.5k monitor that is very specialist territory.

I bet there is some kind of relationship between Nvidia and AU Optronics going on. Asus is doing some launch events this week we might see something as they tend to use the exact same panels.

Too big for desktop use unfortunately I've measured it up. Don't get me wrong as a TV with some distance between you and the screen I'm sure its great but most desktop use you're an arm length's distance away and that would be horrible for First Person probably ok for flight and space sims though.
