Acer z35p backlight bleed - help

Hello guys

Could you please tell me is it normal for a z35p to have such a backlight bleed? or is it faulty and i should send it back. I always thought VA panels are somehow blb free.

It shouldn't be THAT bad, although photos can be misleading. If it looks like this to the naked eye then send it back for sure.

Does yours exhibit the vertical split issue on certain shades of grey? (no pun intended)

Jeez, with these two posts it makes my consideration of this monitor vanish lol! Most reviews are very complimentary however. Buying a monitor is such a ridiculous lottery.
