So after 4 years of service my Dell U2913WM decided to bite the bullet a couple of days ago.
I was looking for another ultrawide upgrade and now I kind of have the excuse to get one.
In India though there isnt a local market for gaming monitors. I wish OCUK did international shipping over here because I would use them in a heartbeat.
However I am left with 2 options :
1)The resellers market place in India with the world's number 1 eseller retailer.
2)A large US based tech company that ships to India.
The problem with the resellers market place is that tech is horribly expensive. For example an X34 costs around 1800 GBP
The issue with the US based tech company is that once I have added India's horrible import taxation onto the price it also becomes expensive, albeit not as much as the 1st option.
It was a toss up between the X34 and the Z35p. The subject title kinda gives it away which one I chose, but basically it came down to one thing.....the horror stories I have heard with BLB on the X34. Sure I have a returns policy, but sending it half way across the world and back could take up significant time.
I have seen an Z35p on a recent trip to Singapore, and I did like it immensely. Does anyone else have any first hand experience of them?
