Drenched my bike in acf50 yesterday, bike looks nice n greasy today but noticed a nice patch of it on my rear tyre :-( I'm dreading to think it's probably creeped into my brakes???

What do I use on the tyre? It's had almost 24hrs for it to soak in :-( I'm such a numpty?!!

I won't be riding again till weekend / next week.

Wash it, maybe chuck some fairy-up in there n'all. Don't worry, just give it a wash and be careful on first ride out.

Yea, I use a compressor and often get some on the brake pads. A few VERY hard brake applications gets rid of it. Don't worry.

As for the rear, the first time I used the compressor I SOAKED a large patch of the rear tyre in ACF 50. Just get some blue roll/tissue, soak it up and wipe it down. Then get a sponge and some hot water with washing up liquid in. Give it a scrub. Don't go insane, doesn't have to be spotless. The next ride out will get rid of it. Don't worry.

How did you apply it? How much?

I think I might do a vid on it as I have the can, pump bottle, spray bottle and the compressor and I don't mind sharing my views on how to use each of them and what works best for me?

Thanks so much for the speedy replys, that's put my mind at ease :-D I was having awful vision

So just soapy water n elbow grease.

I used a lot!! I used the hand pump bottle and went mad, around the front forks I wised up and sprayed onto blue roll n wiped it on. I think I got the calipers both ends too by the looks... Any views or info is great for people to learn from.
