(Poll Request)

Are you an achievement junkie? C'mon let's be honest, and don't worry it's just between you and I; have you ever bought or been influenced to buy / rent / borrow a 360 game by how easy or hard you'd think the achievement points would be to get?
Or, have you bought more games, games you wouldn't probably have bought because you need that achievement point fix? You know, the little smug buzz when the achievment icon pops up on screen.

Poll:

1. I'm a complete junkie, I live for achievment points and they heavily influence my purchases. I also check my achievements on xbox.com twice a day.
2. No no, not at all, well ok, you've caught me, I've bought a few extra games just for the points and I do sometimes compare my stats with my mates.
3. I buy games because I want them but I'll admit the achivement's motivate me to play a little harder and give me some focus.
4. Achivement points? I don't even know my score? Do people even care about this kinda stuff? Loserz.

3. I buy games because I want them but I'll admit the achivement's motivate me to play a little harder and give me some focus.

 :p :D

They probably motivate me to play a tad harder, so 4.

3 for me.

I like getting achievments and it does improve the lifespan of games for me, I couldn't justikfy buying a game just for points though....that's why I rent ;)

No :) I've been on the same gamer score now for an age. So i suppose i'd be a 5. Dont really care about gamerscore.

3. for me. I would not buy a game to get the points, but I will work a bit harder in a game to get the points. A good example is amped 3 - normally I wouldn't have done quite so much as I did, but then again there's still some points left in it that I just cba to get.

5 - couldn't care less, I just like to play the game without worrying about whether I have fulfilled certain criteria. Some of the achievements are ridiculous anyway.

This is not a dig at those who like to collect everything, all kudos to you, I just want to play the game my way.

3. I buy the games I want, and the achievements are just a bonus. I think they're a nice idea though, as they do definitely make me more inclined to play through a game again to get the trickier achievements, that i otherwise wouldn't bother replaying.
