It all escalated after one of those moped plums crashed while being chased and died. Which resulted in police men who were involved in the chase getting deciplined, loosing their jobs etc. Mother etc was protesting in the streets with a gang of chavs saying he was innocent etc (think the number was something like 150+ times that he got stopped by police before)Can't quite fathom out why ramming a fleeing vehicle or blowing its tyres out with a "Stinger" is OK, but chasing a moped rider is not. If someone decides to try and evade the police and gets killed, who cares? And this acid attack resurgence, post the early Victorian era, is most definitely another "benefit" of Asian multiculturalism, initially reintroducing this barbaric practice, although it's unlikely to be raised by the BBC.
So if you were doing your job, you wouldn't risk getting done either.
I lived in Croydon for a few years and it was getting pretty mental there with the moped gangs. Numerous times I've seen them pull. Wheelies, drive in front of police while pulling wheelies, cutting police up etc. They literally do not bother and just ignore them.
