Anyone had it? My stomach has been so sore for around 3 weeks now, constant gurgling and sometimes a stabbing pain in my side, told the doctor and they just gave me lansoprazole which I've been taking for 4 days now and still no change, I don't feel like anything is coming up my throat so I'm very sceptical that this is acid reflux.

Difficult not to make this a medical thread, and there will be a huge range of things which can impact it from what you eat, when you eat and lifestyle, etc. even if not something more major medically behind it.

Have you had COVID recently? digestive/gastrointestinal complications stemming from it aren't completely uncommon with it.

Go back and see your GP.

You've been around here long enough to know there's a rule against medical threads.

You don't get a sore stomach, gurgling noises or stabbing pains in your side from acid reflux. Go to the doctor again or call 111.

Acid reflux feels a little bit like you're going to be sick.

Go see your GP. I could write paragraphs on this with my experience, but it would fall under our medical rules I'm afraid.
