The Aego M-System builds on the strengths of the award winning Aego 2, offering a pair of heavy-alloy satellite speakers and a compact subwoofer for a full range sound that embodies AE’s sound quality principles. The sleekly styled satellites have smoother treble and a funky rounded design while potent amplifiers are built into the subwoofer to drive all three loudspeakers. With just one cable the M-System turns any personal music device into the heart of a home entertainment system. In the living room, in the bedroom, away at college or simply for a spontaneous party, the M-System delivers a big sound form the smallest devices. Better still, the M-System’s gorgeous looks, high quality sound and plug and play simplicity won’t cost a fortune as it remains just as affordable as the best selling AE Aego 2.

Absolutely QUALITY system! I have these and they do NOT disappoint, looks awesome in white too I must say.

Mine are black, but couldn't agree more, a great sounding piece of kit, and well worth the investment for high quality sound and build.

The volume placement is impractical, sub = on floor - how do i reach the volume control.

Wouldn't stop me buying them though

Bought these a few years ago, they are very good. The only thing which is a little annoying is that the volume control is on the sub/amp and not on a separate controller.

I have these & they are brilliant. I got mine second hand for £70 but would still pay they price tag of £130. Great little speakers.

Indeed they are great speakers. They will not disappoint.

Again I bought them ages ago for much less than the current price (£89.95 iirc from OcUk)

I do think however that they would benefit from a remote for volume and possibly optical in.To get control over the volume I've got them hooked into my TV with Apple TV and now I get to use my iphone/ipad over them for wifi music.

Using the black set set for a few years now :D

Edit: just over 5 years, cost £85

This is known as “Quantitative Easing” to the techno colloquials – the devaluing of a currency hidden behind airy-fairy pub-speak in order to the mug muggins without him realising that he is being mugged – because he can speako the lingo. Either that or the makers are taking the opportunity to opportunise - or both, the latter being always the first choice.

so recession caused its price to go up lol

No. Cost of manufacturing, cost of freight (ie the fuel is now massively more expensive) cost of materials and an approx 19% inflation from 5 years ago until now has caused this.

Luckily most understand this otherwise they would all die from 1, lack of food from not eating as much due to food price increases and 2, the fact that £40 doesn't get a tank of fuel anymore.. more like half to 2/3rds.
