Im in need of some new pc speakers, read good reviews on both of these now and I cant decide which one to go for.

Can anyone tell me what size the Aego sub woofer is, as I know the Logi is 8" which is a good size for a sub.

Please help as I want to order them and get rid of these uselss old creatives I have.

I considered going for seperate amp and speakers but settled for one of the above 2.1 set-ups, unless you can recommend anything much better for about this price.

Thanks

Nick

Thanks for that but really need to know the actual size of the speaker itself inside the enclosure.

At the moment the 8" in the Logi is swaying me towards that.

Ok I decided in the end to go for the Acoustic Enery Aego M, the reasoning factor was that Acoustic enery make higher end hifi systems that cost over £1000 and they specialise in hifi where as Logitech make all sorts, Im sure the Logi is a good system but im hoping the Aego will have the edge in sound quality, even if the sub is smaller and it doesnt have as much bass overall i hope it will sound better.

I will update with my review when it comes, should be friday.

Aego's arrived today, Im very pleased to say the least.

Totally destroyed my old system, im amazed at how much bass they produce, the sub looks about 6.5" yet it shakes my entire room! The treble is crisp and the whole sound is perfect, you would have to spend serious money on seperates to better these.

Im gonna sit here all day and listen to music now, i'll probably be deaf my tonight.

Nick :D

edit: My mistake the the sub looks like its actually a 6 x 9" sub, also there may be another 6" speaker in the back of the sub enclosure, no wonder it made everything fall off my desk.
