Acoustic Energy Hi-Fi Speakers @ OCUK now!

Price is good, but the 2 hi-fi retailers I just checked were selling them a smidgen cheaper than that.

The AE Aegis 1 and Aegis 3 were both well rated speakers. I think I'm right in saying the 'evo' are new versions of the same speakers, so I'd be surprised if they weren't just as good. Had a brief look for reviews and they seem highly praised.

There's plenty of other good speakers in the sub £250 sector to consider alongside the AE Evo 1s, assuming you are looking for bookshelf speakers, like the MS 902i, Wharfedale 9.1, MA Bronze B2, B&W DM601 etc. There's also the option of used if you want to save some money.

Just remember these need an amp of course.
