I have an electro-acoustic guitar with a blended pickup comprising a Shadow Nanomag and a Shadow Nanoflex trannsducer. I'm looking for a cheap way of being able to monitor it, preferably sending the signal to a line in so I can monitor the output through one of my existing headphone amps or my stereo. Being aple to input direct into a mixer in future would be handy too.

I'm thinking a DI box would be the best way of doing this. Any recommendations for a cheap one? Any other suggestions?

I ended up buying the bits from ******s and making one for less than £5. It was ages ago so I don't have the circuit to hand but you will find a few on the web.

It works fine and I can use it with all the amp simulator stuff now available.
