Acoustic Guitars

Hello,

I'm looking for a new Acoustic guitar, I got a basic Yamaha F310 few years ago as a started but its not great, the sound is crap now compared to others I've heard. I will of course try as many as I can within my budget before buying but was looking for some general advice on them, good makes etc.

Martin, Ovation, Takamine.
These are 3 names that pop straight into my head to get the ball rolling. I am well out of touch these days so others can bring you and me up to date.
Those 3 are pure quality though and sound like Angels gently humming to me.
When you play a quality acoustic you can feel the whole thing resonate through your body. Awesome goose bump experience well worth the extra expense.

i had the taylor big baby and for 300 quid its a great guitar, really nice action and a beautiful sound
