Acrobat Pro - Access Denied issue

Wonderig if anyone has any idea.

There doesnt seem to be too much usefull info on this issue on the web.

We have Acrobat Pro 11. When a user tries to extract a page from a pdf, we get a access denied message.

The program has been used by a different user when they login to the PC.

Any ideas?

If you open the document and go to the document properties then the security tab what are the document restrictions?

If it's restricted you can often strip the restrictions out by re-printing the PDF file using a free PDF printer then opening the new file instead.

Alternatively try something like PDF Split and Merge to extract the pages instead - I use it all the time. The installer comes bundled with adware, make sure you carefully decline to install it during the install!
