Acronis Logon Failure

Every so often my Acronis scheduled incremental backup will give the error: "Logon failure: user account restriction. Possible reasons are blank passwords not allowed, logon hour restrictions, or a policy restriction has been enforced.".

My account currently has no password, however sometimes the backups work and sometimes they don't, which is a bit strange. I know I could just apply a password to my account to get round the problem, but I'm just wondering why it only does it every so often.

Is there any reason for this?

I'm backing up from D:\ to E:\ (no backup is made of the C:\ drive), so it shouldn't be anything to do with UAC/admin permissions.
