Acronis True Image... Not backing up what I choose?

Hey folks,

I have Acronis True Image 2010, running on my Win7 machine.

I set up a scheduled weekly backup, and chose the directories etc to back up.

Yet every time, when it does it, all it ever backs up, is;

my docs / my music / desktop

Basically the C:\Users\*myname* folder...

It is basically ignoring all the c:\ folders I am choosing!

Any ideas folks?

I'm still getting to grips with Trueimage 2010 and Disk Director 10 having bought and downloaded them at the weekend.

My comment so far is that they seem solid enough, but in attempting to make the software easy to use for people with no grounding in in the nuts and bolts of IT they have obscured things for people that really know what they are doing.

I find I have to fight with the product's built in "idiot proofing" and built in "helpfulness" to get what I want out of it.

Edit: Do you have access rights to all the folders you want to back up - just a thought.

I had TI 2009, on my Vista machine, and just had a look at the backups from them and it was the same! (yikes!)

I just changed the permissions for one folder to try, but made no difference... Im fast going off Acronis!
