Acronis True Image question

I'm planning on getting a new hard drive and using true image to clone my old system drive to the new new. But will true image give the new drive a different letter or will it still be the C drive?

If it images the whole hard drive to another within Windows itself the other hard drive will be seen as something else than C.

Yes it should, just make sure new drive/partition is made active

EDIT: Best to do it using bootable/rescue-media

Go ahead and clone it, then power down the machine and remove the old drive and put the new drive in its place. Windows should boot as normal as it has the same boot.ini file. unless you are going from ide to sata or vice versa you shouldnt have an bother.
