acrylic cases

are acrylic cases a thing of the past been and gone i like the look of some of the mountain mods case and was thinking of tackling my own but not 100%. Reasons for doing it are want to move the case from being on the floor to having it on my desk. At present the back panel is off the case due to the multitude of wires at the rear of the case (case is xigmatek elysium), there's plenty of space at the front just not a lot for at the rear for cable management.

Dust and scratches, they are horrible for both

I don't see the reason for these cases, especially the clear ones. Why not just get a case with a window. That shows you the best bits.
