Afternoon all,

Finally, I've decided, I want to use acrylic pipes instead of tube. The look is nicer in my opinion and the fun going into it will be great.

However, monsoon had a kit:

Which is no longer available, which would have made life a little easier. Is there anything else like this? It would save me running around finding such things in places like hobby craft, if such things even exist!

Thanks

You thought about using PrimoChill Rigid Bender Bending Template? A few good YouTube videos from PrimoChill showing how to use it.
If I ever get myself in gear to go hardline, I would use this.

Ooo, or the old school way, done by hand? Hmmmm...

Either way, love the idea, just need a heat gun and the inner tube thing.

I have the monsoon kit and it is great but it's been out of stock for a while now. You can buy the silicone insert from a few places and use a cheapy heat gun from a hardware shop. For my last build I used a variety of random objects to get the right circumference of a bend. You don't need the mandrels although they are very useful for making accurate bends at the right point in the tube. I'm sure if you look around you'll be able to pick one up.

Wow, checking out your build log.

Truly awesome!
