Action Man............RIP

I have just found out that Action Man is no more. I was trying to get one for our youngest's birthday and he's had the plug pulled. I thought that shops were adopting the 'no guns' rule which explained the shortage of these mini Rambo's but I have finally found someone who knows what they're talking about and discovered the real reason for this lack of plastic muscle.

So long Action Man and start looking through your toybox guys, as who knows what your stash may be worth.

Very sad news, my son has loads of action man stuff some inherited from his much older brother and even some from his dad which are about 45 years old. Perhaps i should put them away now.

I used to collect action man when i was a kid

. but i thought action man died about 4 or 5 years ago ? old news ? because im positive ive seen on tv people saying you cant buy them anymore.....the originals anyway, they were replaced by these horrible hard plastic ones. which didnt have the rights to call them action man. so they had a gheeeeey name

I used to have epic battles between my ninja action man (black belt with red karate type clothing) and my hard core army man (Rambo type person)

They used to last hours. In fact, I have a polaroid at my parent's house of the ninja action man riding one of my cats (now dead)

One of my memory's as a child was desperately , desperately trying to get my action man to parachute off the stairs...out a window....off a tree...but then i was told off...

Sad news if its gone for pc's sake
