Just been reminiscing whilst reading through old posts on the uk.games.computer.quake2 Usenet group, and a few of things came to mind...
1. Did anyone on here read that group during the late '90s, early '00s?
2. Did anyone place AQ2?
3. Does anyone *still* play AQ2? Is there still an AQ2 scene, people playing? Might need to dig out the Quake 2 CD and get it up an running if people are...
A many, many, *many* hour was spent being part of the community in that group, along with the quake3, counterstrike, and multiplayer groups, and playing AQ2...
Has been a good feeling reading those old messages, and remembering names, wondering what all those people are doing now...
