Activate enhanced bluetooth on F30

Was in my Dad's 2013 F30 at the weekend and got talking about bluetooth streaming - I was shocked to find that it doesn't have it! A quick google says it needs the enhanced bluetooth to do A2DP streaming and found some sites in the US who can enable it.

He's quite keen to have it enabled but doesn't want to be faffing with DIY or american sites - it's going into BMW for a service this week anyway, so does anyone know if BMW will enable it for a fee?

Not for free they won't no. Find a local member on an F30 forum who has E-SYS and get it enabled

He's not looking for it to be free, provided it's not stupid money he'd prefer to pay them to do it...any ideas what they'd charge?

BMW dealers are incredibly hit and miss with retrofits like this, expect to be told it isn't possible.

This. Most will typically play down the fact that the car can be coded at all.

Just find a local guy from an owners club, as suggested.
