when i start my pc i get a screen saying my os has not been activated, i get 2 buttons 'resolve now' 'resolve later' either one do nothing and boot into windows, if i use the activate windows tool it says my version is activated.

its anoyying as i cant boot into xp without this warning coming up and my windows xp is legitimate.

any idea what i can do ? i dont care if i need a crack or something to get rid of this, i dont want to call support as i cant understand the 'foreigners' they use for support.

Try removing Wpa.dbl and Wpa.bak from C:\Windows\System32.

These two files can be used to transfer activation between installs on the same computer, so maybe if you remove them it'll deactivate.

just tried what you suggested, it then prompted me to activate on reboot, so i did successfully activate yet still when i reboot i get this screen telling me my windows is not activated.

Are you sure there proper windows errors not some dodgy malware/phisher?
not that i've heard of anything like it but its certainly possible.

I would try deleting Wpa.dbl and Wpa.bak from C:\Windows\System32, restart your system and reactivate Windows using the phone microsoft activation method (NOT THE INTERNET METHOD), restart your system again and go HERE to validate your copy of Windows, it should work.

Hope this helps!
