Hello

I've just been going through my retail games and have been attempting to activate all the EA ones on Origin for convenience. So far I've managed to redeem Mirrors Edge, Burnout Paradise and Crysis 2.

However, The Saboteur, Crysis, Crysis Warhead and NFS Hot Pursuit will not activate. It says they are either not valid or have already been used. I've checked I've entered the codes correctly. Does this sound about right?

Same with Steam keys, some older EA games on Steam will activate and others don't.

Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 1 and 2, Alice Madness Returns, Bulletstorm and Medal Of Honor all worked for me.

Contact Origin CS and speak to Live Chat.

They will generally activate games for if you can supply the serial codes. I got the Complete BF2 pack on Origin as I couldn't activate it manually.

I bought Crysis Maximum Edition retail and managed to get Crysis & Warhead retail keys activated on Origin but I'm struggling to remember how. It certainly involved registering the games here

Create a new classic EA account if you have never had one.
I cant remember if they were automatically added to Origin after or whether I spoke to an EA Live chat advisor to complete the process. I think the live chat people have the ability to link your classic EA account to your Origin account as I recall.

I've just been on to them, its taken best part of an hour but they've sorted it (I think) after a bit of messing about and having to photograph the codes that couldn't be activated. 2 of the 4 games have appeared in origin and im waiting for 2 more. I'm told it could be 24 hours.

Well I was wrong about it being sorted. I was told that Crysis and Warhead would appear in my games within 24 hours which isn't true. I've just spent another hour and a half trying to sort it.

I went to https://activate.ea.com/activategame.do and have activated Crysis. However, Warhead for some reason will not activate. Now I'm told I have to complete a Legacy Profile which I don't know how to do then I will be able to activate Warhead.

All I can say is what a ridiculous load of nonsense the whole process is. Why can't all EA games just be added to Origin without the hassle.

Because a lot of those game were release before EA launched Orgin so the activation process is different or none existent.
