Activating Steam Games

I have Call of Duty 2 which is now available on steam. Now by downloading it with Steam I could play the game without needing the disc in the drive. I tried to activate COD2 on steam with the key code but it dosnt accept it.

Is there anyway to do this?

Retail cod2 can't be activated on steam. You want to use it from steam , you have to buy it from steam.

Retail - Hitman blood money
Retail - Prey
Retail - Half-life 2
Retail - flatout2

^ all worked for me.. no reason why CoD2 wouldnt

Yeah some do Prey I know for a fact and the fact you've used them proves it really, but CoD2 is one of the ones that can't be.

Hey Mp4 you said you did Blood Money, how as it doesn't use a cd-key?
