Activating windows problems

I've recently had to install Windows XP64 on my PC about 3 or 4 times due to hard drive failure issues. When I tried to activate it last night and I got a message saying that I have exceeded the amount of times using my product key, or something. WTF!!! :mad:

What gives, is there anyway around this? I don't really want to have to amything "dodgy" as it's an original version of XP.

Any help would be great.

Best advice is just phone Microsoft and they will give you a new activation key. 5 minutes to them on the phone and all will be sorted.

Great, thanks Ice On Fire. I was thinking of that, but I thought they might just go "pfffff... buy another copy!!!"... I'll get their number off of the activation page.

yeah Microsoft are not that tight about giving new keys away.
