Activating Windows

Hi,

I had a hard drive failure and lost my windows 7 install. Bought a new hard drive and installed windows 7 on it. The problem being my product code is for upgrade only so i cant activate it. Ive long since binned my XP disks as i thought they wouldnt be needed again, had windows 7 from release. Is there anyway to activate without having to buy windows again?

Just phone the activation line, I've had to do it several times due to hard drive replacements.
