Howzit guys,
I have a friend who has just brought his laptop to me, it won't let him activate his Windows XP Professional.
Now, he had XP Pro on there and MS told him it wasn't a legit copy, so he bought the tool from them to change it to a legit copy. Now when he tries to logon it asks him to activate it.
So I press, 'yes', I do want to activate but then the screen goes to his desktop wallpaper and no icons or anything, then it just logs him off again..we can't login or activate...
Anyway around this?
I tried safe mode, but apparently you can't activate in Safe Mode.
