I'm fairly novice when it comes to AD, I know a decent amount about GP and domains, but would like to know more.

I'm after a good reference & theory book if one exists, for intermediate-high level work (not a beginners howto guide) - I know that the practical application helps a lot, but I'm a theoretical man at heart and like a good read.

Personally I've always been able to fumble my way through AD and Exchange with a bit of reading, much like yourself I assume.

I've been studying for an MCITP: Enterprise recently and find there to be a lot of interesting information that has been filling the gaps for me on the 70-640 exam I think. I'm reading the self paced learning book which should be acquirable if you don't have means to get it normally. ;)

Having said that, its not super in depth so it depends on how far you want to go I suppose?

Certainly MCSE, probably further. I've faffed around with it for a bit, and want to get down to brass tacks as it were now.

I've recently started doing the MCITP too and bought the relevant book package online.. The 70-640 book is all about administering AD and is quite handy! Taught me a few things I didn't know..
