Hi.

Im looking to get a new set of active monitors. They will primarily used with my guitar and podxtlive kit so I can have a good sound.

I had KRKs before but would never buy them again..

Is there any you can recommend for a budget of £150.

Thanks

I have a peavey valveking vk122.. but I prefer the monitors as they give a clearer more accurate tone from my podxtlive.

Plus I can use them for hq music.

Presonus Eris E4.5 is possibly the best choice for around £150. Swissonic ASM5 also look very good for around the same. They're Thomann's own brand. They're probably the two that I'd consider if I were looking to spend around £150. That's assuming you're looking at £150 for a pair, rather than for each speaker.

The question is of course how the Rokit RP5 G2 compares, given that they are more expensive. Going by the G3, they're not far off 2x the price of anything around £150

JBL LSR305 will be better and worth the extra if you can stretch to £200 or just over.
