Active Stylus?

Does anyone have an experience with these and can you recommend something affordable.

A friend has a touch screen laptop she sketches on, and I'd like to get a decent stylus with some pressure sensitivity. It's a capacitive touchscreen, no digitizer so I know it won't be the most precise; just an improvement on fingers! I just don't know how to go about grabbing a good one.

Unless it's equipped with a proper digitiser the experience will be poor. I've used a lot of these and have also used proper Wacom, nTrig, and Apple items and it's night and day.

Would you say it's so bad you're better off not using one?

Best bet is a Wacom tablet, these technologies are hard to perfect.
